Hi Smitha,
I would suggest to simply create two conditions, e.g. pre-rest and post-rest, and associated each condition with the corresponding two sessions. The Setup.Conditions tab should look something like the attached image.
Hope this helps

I am beginning a new conn project. I have AP-topup_bold.nii and PA-topup_bold.nii resting fMRI scans pre and post training. From another mail from you I know that it is better to concatenate the AP & PA files after preprocessing and denoising. Do I need to have 4 sessions instead of 2 (pre and post).
I have done 4 sessions
AP-topup_bold.nii (pre-rest)
PA-topup_bold.nii(pre-rest)
AP-topup_bold.nii (post-rest)
PA-topup_bold.nii(post-rest).
In the conditions tab, I set 4 conditions each for sessions 1 to 4 like
AP-pre-rest
PA-pre-rest
AP-post-rest
PA-post-rest.
i.e. condition 1 for session 1, condition 2 for session 2 etc. In the condition definition (condition spans entire selected sessions). I will do the merge/ union pre-conditions (AP-pre-rest, PA-pre-rest) and post (AP-post-rest
PA-post-rest) after preprocessing and denoising
I would like to know whether I am in the right track. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks and Regards
