Hi there,

Would you be able to elaborate a little bit on the skipping of the preprocessing step? When I import my preprocessed data (done in SPM) and click on the "Done" button in the Setup tab (without doing anything in the Preprocessing tab), I get the following error message at Step 2/7: Segmentation:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Error using conn_setup_preproc (line 185)
STEP name %s is not a valid preprocessing step or an existing preprocessing-pipeline file
Error in conn_process (line 240)
conn_setup_preproc('run_structural_segment','subjects',nsub);
Error in conn_process (line 15)
case 'setup', disp(['CONN: RUNNING SETUP STEP']); conn_process([0:4,4.5,5]);
Error in conn (line 4119)
else conn_process('setup'); ispending=false;
Error in conn_menumanager (line 120)
feval(CONN_MM.MENU{n0}.callback{n1}{1},CONN_MM.MENU{n0}.callback{n1}{2:end});

It appears as if the CONN toolbox still tries to do the preprocessing?

Many thanks in advance!

Yes, you may simply not perform any preprocessing and click directly on the Setup tab 'Done' button, and then in the Denoising tab simply remove all terms from the confounds list and again click on 'Done' directly in order to proceed to first-level analyses directly (see the following thread for more details https://www.nitrc.org/forum/message.php?msg_id=25869)

I installed the Conn toolbox so that I may run seed-based whole brain analysis as well as node-based analysis. I have already preprocessed my data using DPARSFA and imported the final preprocessed functional images into my project in Conn. However, I am unsure how to skip the preprocessing step of the 'setup' section and go straight into first-level analysis.

How can I bypass the automatic preprocessing Conn does, so that I can simply run a seed-voxel analysis on data that has already been preprocessed?

Thank you for your help!
