RE: Conn for fast event designs

Hello Alfonso!

In your previous message in this thread you wrote, "These analyses handle the overlap between conditions by entering all conditions simultaneously into a combined general linear model and estimating for each condition the interaction between the condition-specific event response and the BOLD signal at the seed region of interest."

I also found a thread where you explained how to display the general linear model including seed region BOLD signal, condition timeseries, and interaction term timeseries in the 1st level analysis tab.

1) Is there a way to extract the interaction term timeseries from CONN's outputs rather than just displaying them? I read the thorough "explanation of outputs" thread (https://www.nitrc.org/forum/message.php?msg_id=18633), but was unable to determine if this was possible.

2) If extracting the interaction term timeseries is not possible, I believe I might be able to recreate it by referring to the 'results/preprocessing/ROI_Subject*_Condition*.mat' files to obtain the denoised seed region timeseries and the 'effect of condition' timeseries (which I believe are HRF-convolved). Would these be the appropriate terms to extract to recreate the gPPI interaction term outside of CONN?

Many thanks!

Brent
