func.surf.nii denoised files to rh/lh.nii files

Hi,

I am conducting surface-based denoising in CONN on the fmriprep r/l.func.gii cleaned files (after converting them to func.surf.nii files).

I wanted to ask if it is possible after denoising, to convert the func.surf.nii denoised files to rh/lh.fsaverage.nii.gz files?

[Basically, fmriprep results in gifti files for each hemisphere, and than one nifti file is needed for conn, and after that I need rh/lh fsaverage nifti files]
