I have analysed resting fMRI data using CONN by looking at around 10 ROIs and see how they differ in terms of their connections to all brain regions (so seed to seed analysis). I used the targeted regions as the defined networks in CONN. This is a group level analysis over 100 subjects.
The threshold was set using the FDR 0.05.
I was asked these questions and hope someone could help answering them with regard how CONN analyse the data:
1- Does conn use Pearson Correlation I for the connections?
2- Is the FDR corrected over the whole and entire study ?
3- WHY FDR is used compared to FWE, since these two options are available in CONN?
4- How the connections in CONN os determined (if two ROIs are connected)?
5- when using the 0.05 do we correct at the cluster level or just the voxel level ?
