Hello, this is a follow-up to my request:
As I've not had any email contact from anyone, I am asking again for some help. I don't think this would take more than one single phone conversation to get me on my way. pj16@txstate.edu
FYI:
1. I have scoured the Forum and cannot find the answer.
2. I have scoured the internet and cannot find the answer.
3. I have watched all of the training videos on both the NITRC site and the internet and cannot find the answer.
4. My questions have to do with:
a) I have downloaded from the HCP site (76+ tb worth) to my university's system and the file names on the HCP fmri (and T1) data
do not match the file names on any of the video instructions or the Conn Toolbox manual - so I am uncertain as to how to
proceed;
b) As the data I have downloaded from the HCP site are all compressed, I am uncertain if I have to first pre-process an entire
individual subject's data set using a batch file to get the files I need to extract beta weights, or am i able to selectively
uncompress files and used those without pre-processing and if so, what are the exact names of the files I need
5. Nobody at my university has any experience in fmri or with the HCP data
6. I do not have the funding to go to the Martinos Center for HCP/Conn Toolbox classes, although three years ago I attended a training that included a brief introduction to the ConnToolbox - but it used a data set with names of files that do not match the HCP data
All this to say, it's not that i haven't tried to locate the answers to my questions, I'm guessing I am just naively missing the obvious, and I really need someone's help. I am asking for a phone call, because I think it would prevent an extended back-and-forth conversation on this forum that wastes the time of those who are more advanced in this process than I am. Anyone??
