Dear experts,
I would like to study the change in connectivity across sessions between groups. I have defined the contrast as follows:
GroupA GroupB
[1 -1]
Baseline-session_1 Task-session_1 Baseline-session_2 Task-session_2
[1 -1 -1 1]
As far as I understand, the results obtained with the above defined contrast would show those regions in which Group A displays a higher connectivity compared to Group B (GroupA>GroupB) during task performance in session 2 compared to task performance in session 1, removing the effect of baseline [(task_session2>baseline_session2)>(task_session1>baseline_session1)]
Is this the correct contrast definition?
I was wondering if I can also define the following contrast:
Baseline-session_1 Task-session_1 Baseline-session_2 Task-session_2
[0 -1 0 1]
However, I have a repeated measures design, which means that the baseline of each session is different. Therefore, I understand that I cannot use the [0 -1 0 1] contrast.
Could you confirm if this is correct?
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Naiara
