Hello Conn Experts,
We are finalizing analyses for a manuscript. We wanted to make sure we understood FDR correction and corresponding permutation testing in an ROI to ROI analysis. For example, we tested connections between mPFC and regions comprised of the DMN, salience, and dorsal attention networks. We took a look at the corresponding FDR corrected results column and found a number of regions to be under p < 0.05. We just wanted to make sure that the FDR correction is accounting for all of the regions tested (so they indeed survive multiple comparison correction when FDR p < 0.05?) Additionally, we wanted to understand what the additional permutation function does? We found that our omnibus F survives permutation testing as well, although it does not appear to change p-values for individual regions? Is that correct?
Thanks for your guidance,
Emily
