Dear all,
I am a new CONN user, and also new at working with resting state data. So please excuse my basic questions. I have pre-processed, and de-noised my resting state images (n=121). I then preceded to my first level analysis, using group-ICA (20 factors). I now want to, in the second-level analyses, identify the default mode network (DMN), and then compare this between my groups (I have three, controls and two patient groups). In addition, I would then like to export the regions I identified as the group DMN as a mask to use on the patients corresponding structural images, that have been prepared for a VBM analysis. In this way, I can ensure that I am comparing the same regions across the two modalities. Based on this I have two questions:
1) What is the best way to define the DMN?
2) Once identified, how do I export this for use in other analyses?
Thank you for your time. As these are broad questions, please let me know if any further clarification is needed.
Best regards,
Melissa
