Surface based visualization

Dear CONN developers,
I am impressed with the great capabilities of CONN!!! thank you so much for all of your sincere efforts!
I would like to inquire about data visualization on brain surface (specifically the attached figure). The template used in CONN is "fsaverage", but what is the software that CONN employee to visualize the results. Is it Freesurfer-based app? Matlab based package of tools?
