I am doing some tests on the aCompCor method and till now I was not able to reproduce the exactly same denoising results of CONN. I wanted to ask you what the 5 dimensions exactly are. According to your paper (and to some of my tests), it seems that the first component is just the average time course in the ROI. So, I assume that the other 4 dimensions are the the first 4 PCA components. Is that true?
In respect to the original aCompCor paper, does CONN make any additional steps (I am excluding any other obvious steps such as filter, detreding, despiking, PSC trasformation,..)?
Also, I would really appreciate if you could point me to where the 5 temporal series are stored.
